The hotel was amazing. Great location right in the city center. Great breakfast selection and of course the design of the hotel is something that has to be mentioned. One of the best hotels we stayed in a while. The rooms are very clean. I'm usually very sensitive to smells of air refreshing products, but I have to admit, that the one that is used at the Collector was very gentle and pleasant. Big and beautiful bathroom and unique design of the room really impressed us. The hotel offers also a lot of on top things that I haven't seen in other places, like free candies, apples and free water at all time for the guests. At the end of our stay we were also given a little gift, which just topped it all. Those small details make a huge difference. The gift was very thoughtful as it contained some snacks, that ended up being very welcomed as our flight got delayed :) Definitely will choose this hotel again when visiting The Hague. The only little note is to probably book a bigger room, the one we had was a little tight, but nonetheless perfect.

The hotel is tucked in a courtyard in an historic district with cobble stone streets. It is right next to Food Hallen - which is like an upscale foot court with lots of choices. After a busy day it was nice to walk next door for supper - we ate there three times! The hotel was as described (lovely quirky room!) and the staff were helpful and knowledgable. The lobby is great - quiet and lots of space to sit and do some work/ reading. We noticed bikes by the hotel with the hotel name on them and asked if they were for rent - which they are. I didn't see this on the website. The bikes can be rented for a day. My husband only wanted it for a couple of hours and they didn't charge him! When we left we got a goodie bag with a drink, crackers, granola bars - this was lunch as we headed to the airport! So we will be back to this hotel! I highly recommend!

The hotel itself is a really lovely boutique hotel. The staff members were kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. The bathrooms were well appointed, bright and had good amenities (shampoo and shower gel in the shower; conditioner available, vanity set and a great hairdryer!). The hotel bar was a lovely spot to grab a drink at the end of the day. It was a really relaxing spot! The hotel location is a pro/con. It is super close to many things in the city, but with that comes a lot of noise at night. It was pretty loud until 2 am the nights we were there.

Sarah

The hotel is modern and very well designed, with nice decoration (much better than most of said boutique hotels we stayed). The staff is professional and kind, making its best for the guests needs in information and to feel well. The breakfast is excellent, with a sort of high quality and delicious, fresh goods (outstanding pancake, the best we have tested!). It is well sited, at walking distance of most of Den Haag attractions and close to many restaurants for dinner. From our room, with a large window for an internal court, we have a nice view of a church tower and could hear its bells sounds.

Nelson

This was a charming, beautifully appointed and up-to-date hotel with a definite upscale feel at a reasonable rate. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. The breakfast was well worth the extra cost and set us up nicely for the day ahead. The hotel seems to take its name from its collection of fine art reproductions in its rooms, halls and lobby. We were amused by how many rather saucy variations we saw of the girl with the pearl earring. We hope Vermeer might be equally impressed! We loved the central location and closeness to downtown
